Participating in the voting process and being able to say “I Voted” is a noble and proud act to do as a US citizen to help choose your leaders and representatives. Immigrant Africans who are US citizens are indebted to the voting process, coming from a background where their votes only count depending on the party they belong. What an opportunity to be in the greatest democracy on earth and make your voice heard.
